- Beck's triad.

Beck's triad of  Parapharyngeal Abscess:-
  1. External cervical swelling: at the submandibular region which is tender.
  2. Trismus due to spasm of the medial pterygoid.
  3. Internal swelling: of the lateral pharyngeal wall,pushing the tonsil medially.
 
Beck's triad of cardiac temponade:-
1-Decrease of systolic blood pressure.
2-Distended jugular vein.
3-Diminished heart sounds(quite heart).
